The International Childhood Cancer Day was declared during the recurrent meeting of the International Confederation of Childhood Cancer Parent Organizations in Luxemburg in September 2001.
Since 2003 the day of February’15 has been officially celebrated as the International Childhood Cancer Day. The main goal of the Day is to raise the public awareness about the Childhood Cancer problems.

Отделение детской онкологии Национального института рака уже полностью перебралось на второй этаж нового корпуса. В старом отделении было 9 палат и 26 кроватей. Теперь отделение имеет 22 палаты в которых установлены 38 кроватей.
Вот уже более трех лет как в детской онкологии государством не выделяются деньги на приобретение оборудования и реактивов. Мы хотим нормальных условий и возможностей в лечении наших детей! Но надеяться мы можем только на каждого из Вас. |

"People help people" - this is a motto of annual Yew Year Charity Market which is organized by International Kyiv Women Club. During this event they collect money, that are used for giving grants to charitable organizations. Not only those who buy products take part in this total charity event but also people who sell. There were markets from all countries that have diplomatic presence in Ukraine, moreover diplomats themselves did the opening of this Charitable Market. Also, 18 IWCK grantees had a chance to present their organizations. Very good initiative! This year our Fund was granted by International kyiv Women Club with a grant for art classes at the center. |
